New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte has signed legislation that prevents state and municipal authorities from restricting the use of digital assets for lawful purchases or imposing special fees based on crypto payment methods.
The law also shields blockchain node operation, mining, and staking activities from regulatory interference. Courts in the state may establish separate proceedings for blockchain-related disputes.
This move strengthens the legal framework for cryptocurrency usage and self-custody in New Hampshire.
