Several firms, including Satsuma Technology, Sequans Communications, and MARA, have sold significant Bitcoin holdings to repay debt or boost liquidity. Bitdeer and Strategy also reduced positions amid a shift to AI infrastructure and cash reserves.

A growing number of companies are offloading their Bitcoin reserves to manage debt or raise cash.

  • Satsuma Technology liquidated all 668 BTC.
  • Sequans Communications sold most of its Bitcoin stash to repay debt.
  • MARA used 15,133 BTC to buy back bonds.

Some firms are pivoting toward AI infrastructure. Bitdeer sold its accumulated coins and is now focusing on data centers. Even Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) sold 3,620 BTC for payments and to replenish its dollar reserve, though it still holds 843,775 BTC and maintains its Bitcoin strategy.
