Bitcoin briefly touched the $58,000 mark during the period. Meanwhile, the Ethereum Foundation announced plans to reduce its expenditure by 40% and restructure its management framework, signaling a shift toward greater fiscal discipline.

On the regulatory front, Russia's financial monitoring agency (Rosfinmonitoring) said it would tighten control over Bitcoin transactions, adding to the growing list of global oversight measures.

Outside crypto, OpenAI unveiled its GPT-5.6 model family. Separately, SpaceX reportedly saw its valuation drop by $600 billion in just three days — a loss roughly equivalent to half of Bitcoin's total market capitalization at current levels.
