Vitalik Buterin Unveils Anonymous Board with AI Moderation on Aztec
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin released a demo anonymous message board on Aztec, where users deposit ETH to post and a local LLM can serve as moderator.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has published a demo version of an anonymous message board on GitHub, built on the Aztec privacy-focused rollup.
The concept works as follows: a user deposits ETH via a smart contract on the Ethereum mainnet, which then allows them to post messages on the rollup. The user’s address and deposit amount remain public. When deploying the contract, a moderator is also assigned — this role can be filled by a local daemon running a large language model (LLM).
Buterin described the current iteration as a prototype but noted that it is already capable of enabling “interesting things.”
