USD/SGD Seen Stuck in Tight Range as Momentum Fades – UOB

United Overseas Bank analysts expect USD/SGD to remain directionless, with intraday trading confined to a 1.2900–1.2925 band and a broader 1.2875–1.2955 range over the coming weeks.

USDSGD

United Overseas Bank’s Quek Ser Leang and Lee Sue Ann note that the Singapore dollar is holding a sideways range against the US dollar. The pair is expected to trade directionless in the near term, with intraday moves limited to a tight 1.2900–1.2925 band.

Over the coming weeks, analysts see USD/SGD oscillating in a broader 1.2875–1.2955 range as earlier downside momentum has faded. No clear breakout is anticipated unless one side of the range is convincingly breached.
