Silver Consolidates Above $55 as Bearish Pressure Fades
Silver prices hover near $57.50 on Friday, down 2%, but downside momentum is easing as the metal holds above the $55 mark.
XAGUSD
Silver (XAG/USD) traded lower on Friday, slipping 2% to around $57.50, as rising U.S. Treasury yields weighed on the metal despite a weaker dollar. The price action keeps the white metal on track for a negative monthly close in July.
However, the bearish push is showing signs of fatigue, with XAG/USD consolidating above the $55 level. The easing of downward momentum suggests selling pressure may be abating, though the near-term direction remains uncertain.
