Nearly Half of Bitcoin Supply at a Loss, Long-Term Holders Not Selling: Bitfinex

Bitfinex analysts report that almost half of Bitcoin's total supply is currently at a loss, with the majority held by long-term holders who are not selling despite the losses. They note that market bottoms typically occur when these holders capitulate, but instead they are accumulating.

According to Bitfinex analysts, nearly 50% of the entire Bitcoin supply is now at a loss. The majority of these coins are held by long-term holders who are experiencing unrealized losses but have not sold their assets.

The analysts stated that a market bottom usually arrives when these holders capitulate. However, current behavior shows they are accumulating rather than selling. This suggests market sentiment remains resilient despite the paper losses.
