Iranian MP Calls for Immediate NPT Withdrawal, Vows Revenge
Mojtaba Yousefi, a member of Iran's parliament presiding board, urged immediate withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and warned against failing to avenge the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Mojtaba Yousefi, who sits on the presiding board of Iran's parliament, has called for the country to quit the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) without delay. "With what justification are we still in the NPT?" he asked, urging a decision today.
Yousefi also said it would be "a strategic and calculative mistake" if Iran does not seek retribution against those responsible for the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, though he did not specify any targets or actions.
