Euro Slides to One-Year Low Against Pound, Extends Seven-Day Decline

The Euro has fallen to its lowest level in a year against the British Pound, declining in seven of the last eight trading sessions. The move is attributed to weakness in the single currency rather than Pound strength.

EURGBP

The Euro has extended its losing streak against the British Pound, falling to a one-year low. The single currency has dropped in seven of the past eight trading sessions, with the latest leg lower pushing EUR/GBP to levels not seen since early last year.

Market participants point to a softening Euro as the primary driver, rather than any particular strength in Sterling. The move reflects ongoing economic divergence between the Eurozone and the UK, with the European Central Bank under pressure while the Bank of England maintains a more cautious stance.

Traders are watching for potential support levels in EUR/GBP, though the momentum remains firmly with sellers. The pair has broken through key technical levels, and further downside cannot be ruled out if Eurozone data continues to disappoint.
