US Airstrikes on Iran Impact Gasoline Prices in CEE Region

The US launched new airstrikes against Iran, and President Trump vowed to intensify attacks until Tehran stops disrupting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, gasoline prices are shifting across Central and Eastern Europe.

On Wednesday, the United States carried out additional airstrikes against Iran. President Donald Trump pledged to escalate the bombardment until Iran ceases attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and agrees to reopen the waterway.

This escalation in geopolitical risk is being reflected in energy markets, with gasoline prices undergoing changes across Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. The precise direction and magnitude of the price moves remain unclear, but supply disruption fears typically push fuel costs higher.
