EUR/JPY Retreats but Stays Above 186.32 Support

The euro gave up some of its recent gains against the yen on Thursday, though it remains above the previous high of 186.32 as traders await ECB policy cues.

EURJPY

The euro slipped against the Japanese yen during Thursday's session, pulling back from earlier highs but still holding above the key level of 186.32.

Market participants are positioning ahead of the European Central Bank's monetary policy decision, which may dictate the next directional move for the pair. The 186.32 level, previously a resistance-turned-support, is now being watched as a potential pivot point.

A sustained hold above this mark could keep the bullish structure intact, while a break below might signal a deeper correction. The yen, meanwhile, remains sensitive to broader risk sentiment and yield differentials.
