EU MiCA Deadline: 244 Crypto Firms Now Authorized

With the EU's MiCA deadline arriving tomorrow, 244 crypto firms are now authorized across the EEA. OKX leads with nine out of ten MiCA services approved.

Today marks the final day before the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation deadline. Across the European Economic Area (EEA), 244 crypto firms have now obtained authorization to operate under the new framework.

OKX has emerged as the leader in MiCA compliance, securing approval for nine out of ten available MiCA service categories. The exchange's broad authorization highlights its proactive approach to regulatory alignment.

The MiCA regulation aims to provide a unified legal framework for crypto assets across EU member states, impacting exchanges, custodians, and other service providers.
