Elon Musk Retracts on Anthropic, Calls It Clear AI Leader

Elon Musk admitted he was wrong about Anthropic, describing it as the clear leader in AI with no competitor matching Mythos/Fable. He expects Mythos 2 soon and pledged not to harm Anthropic, citing Tesla's open-sourcing philosophy.

Elon Musk acknowledged he was mistaken about Anthropic, now calling the company the undisputed leader in artificial intelligence. He stated that no competitor has yet matched Anthropic's Mythos/Fable models.

Musk also indicated that the next-generation Mythos 2 is expected imminently. He pledged never to cut off Anthropic in a way that would harm the firm, drawing parallels to Tesla's open-sourcing of patents and its Supercharger network as examples of his competitive philosophy.

The remarks signal a significant shift in Musk's public stance toward Anthropic, which he previously criticized.
