USD/CHF Slumps to 0.8029 as US NFP Misses Expectations

The Swiss Franc strengthened against the US Dollar on Thursday after disappointing Nonfarm Payrolls data pushed the greenback lower. USD/CHF fell to around 0.8029, its lowest since June 18.

USDCHF

The US Dollar came under broad selling pressure Thursday after a weaker-than-expected US Nonfarm Payrolls report. The USD/CHF pair dropped nearly 0.80% to trade around 0.8029, its lowest level since June 18.

The disappointing NFP data raised concerns about the pace of economic recovery, prompting investors to reduce exposure to the dollar. The Swiss Franc, a traditional safe haven, benefited from the flight from risk associated with a soft labor market.
