The Swiss Franc advanced against the US dollar on Wednesday, with USD/CHF trading around 0.8120, a 0.09% decline on the day.
Support for the Franc came from renewed US-Iran geopolitical tensions and higher Swiss government bond yields, which boosted demand for the safe-haven currency.
Despite a generally risk-off environment that typically favors the US dollar, the Franc managed to edge higher.
