Ripple Secures CASP License in Luxembourg, Paving Way for EEA Crypto Payments

Ripple has obtained a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from Luxembourg's financial regulator, aligning with the EU's MiCA framework. This authorization enables the firm to launch regulated crypto payment products across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area.

Ripple has received a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the Luxembourg financial regulator, bringing the company into full compliance with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.

According to the company's statement, this regulatory milestone clears the path for the rollout of regulated crypto payment products across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). The license positions Ripple to expand its institutional payment solutions under a unified legal framework in the region.
