Retail Investors Cash Out Tech Profits, SanDisk Leads with $125M Sales

Retail investors sold $125 million in SanDisk stock last week, the largest single-stock sale, followed by Apple and Tesla. Total retail turnover in single stocks hit a record $370 billion.

Retail investors have been selling tech stocks aggressively, locking in gains after a historic rally. SanDisk saw the largest outflow at $125 million last week, followed by Apple ($120 million) and Tesla ($105 million). Nvidia, American Airlines, and Meta also saw significant sales, with Nvidia at $65 million, American Airlines at $40 million, and Meta at $22 million.

Over the past two weeks, combined retail sales in Tesla and Apple have reached $200 million. Meanwhile, total retail turnover in single stocks surged to a record $370 billion, up from $220 billion at the start of 2026, indicating heightened activity as investors take profits.
