EUR/USD Stuck Near 1.1450 as ECB Outlook Weighs on Euro

The EUR/USD pair ended the week little changed around 1.1450, with mounting Middle East tensions offsetting any ECB-driven relief. The outlook suggests the euro may struggle to gain momentum as the ECB decision fails to provide a boost.

EURUSD

The EUR/USD pair spent the week seesawing near the 1.1450 mark, ultimately closing a few pips below that level with minimal net change.

Despite a temporary pause in risk-off sentiment, rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East kept markets cautious. The upcoming European Central Bank decision is not seen as likely to rescue the single currency, as expectations for policy support remain limited.

Traders now look to the ECB meeting for potential direction, but the overall environment favors the US dollar amid heightened uncertainty.
