WTI Crude Rebounds from Two-Week Low on Iran Risk

WTI crude oil prices snapped a three-day losing streak on Wednesday, bouncing from a two-week low to trade around the mid-$81 level as geopolitical tensions involving Iran supported the market.

WTI

West Texas Intermediate crude oil saw a strong rebound during Asian trade on Wednesday, halting a three-session slide that had pushed prices to their lowest in over two weeks. The benchmark US grade was bid around the mid-$81 area.

Geopolitical concerns tied to Iran were cited as a key factor behind the move, with supply disruption fears lending renewed support. The bounce lifted WTI from prior session lows, reversing the recent downward momentum.

Volume and additional fundamental drivers were not immediately detailed in the headline feed.
