Trump Calls on House GOP to Vote Yes on Budget Resolution

In a post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump thanked House Speaker Mike Johnson, Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington, and other committee members for launching an effort to include as much of the SAVE AMERICA Act as possible in a budget bill. He specifically called for voter photo ID requirements, proof of citizenship, and restrictions on mail-in ballots.
Trump urged all House Republicans to vote yes on the budget resolution this week, describing it as an important first step toward passing a larger budget bill. He also stressed the need for party unity to fight for the SAVE AMERICA Act, which he said would also support farmers and military funding.
