Paris Investigators Question Telegram's Pavel Durov for Fourth Time

Telegram founder Pavel Durov was questioned for six hours on July 8 at the Paris Judicial Court, marking his fourth interrogation since charges were filed nearly two years ago. His lawyers say investigators have found no evidence supporting the allegations.

Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, was again questioned by Paris investigators on July 8 in connection with a case alleging his complicity in criminal activity through the messaging platform. According to TF1 Info citing AFP, Durov spent about six hours at the Paris Judicial Court during this session.

This marks the fourth time Durov has been interrogated since charges were brought against him nearly two years ago, following which he was placed under judicial supervision. His lawyers told AFP that law enforcement has been unable to produce evidence substantiating the claims.

The case centers on allegations that Telegram facilitated criminal acts, though Durov and his legal team maintain the accusations are unfounded.
