Eurozone Flash Manufacturing PMI Beats Expectations at 52.0 in July

The Eurozone's preliminary HCOB Manufacturing PMI rose to 52.0 in July, exceeding both the previous month's 51.4 and market forecasts.

EURUSD

The Eurozone flash Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for July came in at 52.0, according to HCOB data. This reading marks a stronger-than-expected expansion, beating the consensus estimate of a moderate rise.

The latest figure is up from June's 51.4, indicating that manufacturing activity in the region has accelerated. A PMI above 50 signals expansion, and the faster pace suggests improving conditions in the industrial sector.

The data may influence ECB policy expectations and provide support for the euro in currency markets.
