EUR/USD Resumes Decline After Bearish Flag Breakdown Test

EUR/USD gave back early gains after failing to break above the intraday high of 1.1418, resuming its decline following a bearish flag breakdown.

EURUSD

The euro surrendered the majority of its early session advance against the dollar, unable to sustain momentum above the 1.1418 intraday peak. The pair turned lower as the breakout attempt stalled, reinforcing the bearish technical structure.

Price action remains consistent with a bearish flag pattern that had broken down in recent sessions. The failure to reclaim the critical resistance level suggests that sellers are in control, and the broader downtrend may extend.

Intraday support now sits near recent swing lows, with the flag target still pointing lower. Traders will watch for any fresh catalysts that could either accelerate the decline or spark a reversal back above resistance.
