AUD/USD Uptrend Risk Intact Above 0.6950 – UOB

United Overseas Bank notes AUD/USD slipped below its recent consolidation range but continues to trade within 0.6960–0.7000 intraday. The bank maintains that the upside scenario remains valid as long as the pair stays above 0.6950.

United Overseas Bank (UOB) analyst Quek Ser Leang observed that AUD/USD has edged lower, breaking out of its prior consolidation, yet remains confined to the 0.6960–0.7000 range during intraday trading.

On a one-to-three-week horizon, the earlier strong upward momentum that pushed the pair toward 0.7045 has weakened. However, UOB cautions that the uptrend risk is not over: the bullish outlook stays intact as long as the 0.6950 support level holds.

No additional commentary or target levels were provided by the bank.
