West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil climbed above $87.00 per barrel on Thursday, extending its winning streak to five consecutive sessions. The latest leg higher was driven by intensifying geopolitical risks in the Middle East, where conflict threatens key oil transit chokepoints.

During Asian trading hours, WTI hovered around $87.30, reflecting market anxiety over potential supply disruptions. Traders are closely monitoring developments in the region as any escalation could further tighten global crude supplies.
