Trump Attacks Senator Reed Over Iran Deal Comparison

Former President Donald Trump lashed out at Senator Jack Reed for likening his Iran policy to the JCPOA, calling Reed "fraud or incompetent" and insisting his own deal blocks an Iranian nuclear weapon.

Donald Trump took to Truth Social to rebuke Senator Jack Reed after Reed compared Trump's approach to the Iran nuclear issue with the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Trump dismissed the comparison, labeling Reed as either a "fraud or incompetent" and arguing that the Obama-era JCPOA was a "road to an Iranian nuclear weapon." He claimed his own deal serves as a "wall" preventing Iran from obtaining such a weapon.

The exchange highlights the ongoing partisan clash over U.S. Iran strategy, with Trump seeking to differentiate his record from predecessor Barack Obama's.
