TRON Adds Post-Quantum Signatures on Nile Testnet
TRON developers have enabled post-quantum digital signatures on the Nile testnet, starting with the FN-DSA-512 and ML-DSA-44 algorithms, to future-proof against potential attacks on ECDSA. Mainnet rollout timing remains unannounced.

TRON developers have implemented support for post-quantum digital signatures on the Nile testnet. The first activated algorithm is FN-DSA-512, with the update also adding support for ML-DSA-44.
The upgrade is positioned as a defense against potential future attacks on the ECDSA cryptography used by many blockchains. TRON founder Justin Sun has not disclosed when the feature will be integrated into the mainnet.
