Swiss Franc Weakens as USD/CHF Hits 0.8170 on Safe-Haven Flows

USD/CHF extended its winning streak for a fifth consecutive day, trading around 0.8170 during Asian hours. The US Dollar pared earlier losses amid renewed safe-haven demand fueled by escalating US-Iran tensions.

USDCHF

The Swiss Franc continued to weaken against the US Dollar on Friday, as USD/CHF notched a fifth straight daily gain to trade near 0.8170 in Asian hours. The pair's rise was driven by the US Dollar recovering from intraday losses as investors sought safe-haven assets amid heightened geopolitical risks from the US-Iran standoff.

No additional economic data or central bank comments were cited in the move. The dollar's safe-haven appeal has strengthened the pair, keeping the Swiss Franc on the defensive. Traders will watch for further developments in the Middle East and any Fed or SNB signals that could shift momentum.
