Lex Fridman, podcaster and AI researcher, compared Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's reception in Taiwan to that of the Beatles in the 1960s, describing him as a rock star. Fridman is spending time with Huang in Taiwan and will soon release an interview.

On May 27, Huang stated that Nvidia will allocate $150 billion in annual spending to Taiwan, labeling the island the "epicenter" of the artificial intelligence revolution. The remarks underscore Taiwan's central role in the global AI supply chain, particularly as the home of TSMC, Nvidia's key chip manufacturing partner.

The massive investment commitment highlights Nvidia's deepening reliance on Taiwan for production as AI demand surges.
