Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin said the Ethereum Foundation's current reorganization, including budget cuts and personnel changes, is not a sign of crisis but a strategic refocus on core technology and network values.

Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and CEO of ConsenSys, stated that the ongoing reorganization of the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is not indicative of a crisis. According to Lubin, the budget reductions and staffing adjustments are intended to sharpen the organization's focus on the fundamental technology and values of the Ethereum network.

Lubin's comments aim to address speculation that the restructuring signals broader instability within the EF. He emphasized that the changes are part of a deliberate strategy to streamline operations and reaffirm the foundation's core mission.
