Iran Says U.S. Talks Progress in Two Phases: War, Assets Then Nuclear

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the Iran-US negotiations are structured as a two-step roadmap, according to a Telegram post flagged as macro news.

Phase one of the talks has already concluded, resulting in an end to the war, securing the Strait of Hormuz, and the release of frozen Iranian assets. Araghchi did not specify which war he referred to, but the Strait of Hormuz is a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments.
