IBM Q2 Revenue Misses Estimates, Lowers FY Growth Guidance
IBM reported Q2 2026 revenue of $17.16B, missing the $17.52B estimate, while operating EPS came in at $2.93. The company lowered its full-year revenue growth guidance to +4%–+5% from prior above +5%.
IBM's Q2 2026 earnings fell short of revenue expectations. Revenue reached $17.16 billion against an estimated $17.52 billion. Operating earnings per share were $2.93, compared to $2.80 in the prior period.
Software revenue came in at $7.76B (estimate $7.99B), and consulting revenue was $5.33B (estimate $5.39B). Free cash flow totaled $2.54B, below the $2.95B estimate.
The company revised its full-year revenue growth forecast downward to between +4% and +5%, from a previous outlook of above +5%. IBM reiterated its target to deliver a quantum computer by 2029.
