CENTCOM Launches New Strikes on Iranian Military Targets Near Hormuz

US Central Command announced a fresh wave of strikes against Iranian military assets, including air defense, coastal radar, missile, and drone sites, aimed at reducing threats to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced a new wave of strikes targeting Iranian military positions. The operations reportedly hit air defense systems, coastal radar installations, and missile and drone launch sites.

The strikes are intended to degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global oil transit. CENTCOM stated that freedom of navigation operations in the region will continue.
