Australian Dollar Rebounds as Softer USD and Iran Peace Talks Boost Risk Sentiment

The Australian Dollar strengthened against the US Dollar on Monday, with AUD/USD rising to around 0.7080. The move was driven by a softer USD and improved risk appetite after reports emerged of a preliminary peace agreement between the United States and Iran.

At the time of writing, the Australian Dollar was up 0.46% on the day, reaching its highest level in recent sessions. The development suggests a potential de-escalation in geopolitical tensions, supporting demand for risk-sensitive currencies like the Aussie.
