Anthropic, the AI company behind Claude, has formally accused Chinese tech giant Alibaba of unauthorized access to its proprietary AI models. The allegations were outlined in letters sent to U.S. senators and the White House, according to a report from @FirstSquaw.

The move comes amid escalating U.S.-China tensions over artificial intelligence and technology security. Alibaba declined to comment on the allegations, potentially inviting further scrutiny of cross-border AI competition.

The accusations highlight growing concerns over intellectual property theft and competitive espionage in the rapidly advancing AI sector.
