WOO X Adjusts Account Fund Management Fees

A crypto platform will apply an 8 bps fee from March 30, 2026 to accounts with spot trading volume below USDT 3 million but deposits and withdrawals above USDT 50 million in a six-month period.

A cryptocurrency trading platform has announced it will introduce fund management fees for certain accounts that mainly move assets in and out of the platform, effective March 30, 2026. The move is aimed at enhancing resource allocation and strengthening operational efficiency and risk management, according to the announcement.

The fee applies to accounts that meet two conditions within any consecutive six-month period: cumulative spot trading volume of less than USDT 3,000,000, and cumulative deposit and withdrawal volume exceeding USDT 50,000,000. The platform said such activity increases infrastructure, operational, and risk-management costs, and that the fee reflects usage of platform resources and associated risk-management costs.

The charging method will be set at 8 basis points (0.08%), calculated based on the cumulative deposit amount from the starting date. The platform said detailed implementation and fee collection mechanics will be communicated separately to affected users.

The platform stressed that regular trading users and standard asset usage behaviors will not be impacted. It also noted that it reserves the right to modify the policy in accordance with operational needs and market conditions.

The announcement appears to target accounts used primarily for asset transfers rather than active trading, and may affect institutional or high-volume settlement flows.
