Webull Expands Private Market Access Through New SPV Investment Offering

Webull is partnering with Monark Markets to let eligible accredited investors invest in late-stage private companies via special purpose vehicles on its platform.

Online brokerage Webull (NASDAQ: BULL) has introduced a new private markets solution that gives eligible accredited investors access to late-stage private companies. The offering, launched in partnership with private-markets infrastructure provider Monark Markets, uses dedicated special purpose vehicles (SPVs) sponsored by an affiliated exempt reporting adviser.

Through the new feature, Webull users who qualify as accredited investors can indicate interest in specific private companies. When sufficient demand is identified, Monark sources a suitable opportunity and establishes an SPV to hold the investment. Subscriptions and funding are handled entirely within the Webull platform, creating a streamlined path from expression of interest to investment.

How the SPV Framework Works

Each SPV is designed to provide direct exposure to a single late-stage private company, with participation limited to no more than 99 eligible investors per vehicle. The process is demand-driven: investor indications are non-binding and do not constitute a commitment to invest until a formal offering is made. Eligibility is restricted to accredited investors who meet applicable securities law requirements.

"Private markets have become an increasingly important part of how companies create value, yet investment opportunities have remained limited for many investors," said Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull. He described the launch as part of Webull's broader effort to broaden access in a structured way directly within the platform.

Ben Haber, CEO of Monark Markets, highlighted the convergence of private markets and traditional brokerage. "Webull is helping advance the convergence of private markets and traditional brokerage by working to expand access for eligible accredited investors to private companies within their brokerage app," he said.

The move extends Webull's product range beyond public securities, options, futures, and digital assets into private company investments. The company noted that the offering is designed for investors who can bear the risk of losing their entire investment, given the illiquid and speculative nature of private securities.

The SPV feature will be rolled out to all qualifying users who have downloaded the latest version of the Webull app.
