Valutrades Gets £600K Capital Injection from Shareholders

London-based FX and CFD broker Valutrades secured a £600,000 capital injection from shareholders in March 2026, reinforcing its financial position as it shifts focus to client experience.

London-based retail FX and CFD broker Valutrades has announced a further capital injection of £600,000 from its controlling shareholders in March 2026. The funding is intended to strengthen the company’s capital base and support its long-term growth strategy.

The latest injection follows a series of capital raises over recent years, which have covered cumulative losses at Valutrades exceeding £6 million in 2023 and 2024 combined. These funds have been used to reinforce the firm’s balance sheet while backing a broader strategic transformation.

According to the company, it has now moved from a phase of infrastructure buildout to one of performance refinement. Key milestones in its recent digital overhaul include the launch of an upgraded website and Client Area in late 2023, followed by a native mobile app in 2024.

In 2026, Valutrades says its focus has shifted to enhancing the overall client experience across the trading environment. Specific areas of improvement include better app responsiveness and execution speed, stronger platform stability during volatile market conditions, and a refined user interface for more intuitive navigation.

“The latest capital injection shows our shareholders’ continued support for the business and our long-term growth strategy,” said Graeme Watkins, CEO of Valutrades. “It ensures we retain a strong capital base and will be used to expand into new markets now our rebranding and upgraded tech stack are complete.”

Valutrades is controlled by Indonesian investors Aman Lakhiani and Anil Bahirwani. The broker offers forex, CFDs, and commodities trading via MetaTrader 4 and 5 platforms, as well as FIX API connectivity. Watkins has served as CEO since 2015.
