Topstep brings elite performance to trading

Topstep unveils a new ad campaign starring champion skier Alex Ferreira, alongside platform updates including a redesigned website, Training Camp learning series, and live funding up to $150,000.

Futures trading prop firm Topstep has launched a national advertising campaign featuring Olympic halfpipe skier and funded trader Alex Ferreira. The spots, titled 'Climb Higher' and 'See Opportunity,' are airing on NBC, Peacock, and other digital platforms. The campaign draws a parallel between elite athletic preparation and the discipline required for consistent trading results.

Topstep founder and CEO Michael Patak said Ferreira embodies the company's philosophy that preparation and consistency matter more than raw talent. "He's living proof that preparation and consistency matter more than talent alone," Patak stated. The campaign reflects Topstep's core belief that traders can progress regardless of their starting point if they commit to the process.

Alongside the campaign, Topstep introduced several platform and program enhancements. The redesigned Topstep.com clarifies the funding path and unifies the company's ecosystem of products and services. Enhanced onboarding now includes visual guides and simulated modules to teach core concepts like reading charts and executing buy/sell decisions before traders enter the Trading Combine.

A new interactive learning series called Training Camp offers short, tailored lessons on futures fundamentals, helping traders build confidence before they start the combine. Topstep also expanded flexibility in its custom journey experience, giving traders more control over how they pursue funding, scale capital, and access payouts. The live funding program now provides access to trading capital up to $150,000.

The proprietary TopstepX platform received a refreshed interface with improved layout, tools, and risk management controls. Additionally, Topstep unveiled a new visual identity including a new logo, color palette, and typography that spans the entire enterprise from Topstep (Prop) and TopstepX to TopstepTV.

Patak noted that these changes represent the next phase of Topstep's growth, with a focus on creating what he called "The Ultimate Trading Experience." The company aims to meet traders wherever they are in their journey, from beginners learning basics to experienced traders seeking live capital.

Ferreira, who has been a Topstep funded trader, commented on the parallels between skiing and trading. "Trading with Topstep has taught me that the same principles that make me a better athlete also apply to trading," he said. "Success depends on continuous improvement: staying consistent, sticking to a routine, managing risk, and sharpening your edge one rep at a time."

Patak founded Topstep after losing nearly six figures in the markets early in his career, an experience that shaped the company's focus on discipline, consistency, and structured progression rather than talent alone.
