Tickmill sets out MENA expansion plans and expects new regional licence

Tickmill has opened offices in Kuwait and Oman and expects to announce a new licence to deepen its MENA presence, alongside in-app CFD trading and a new head of research.

Tickmill has set out an accelerated expansion plan across the Middle East and North Africa, combining new products, a senior hire and additional offices as it prepares to add another licence to its regulatory footprint. The broker said the planned authorisation would allow deeper market penetration and a broader range of services across the region.

The company said it began offering contracts for difference directly inside its mobile app on 16 September 2026, allowing clients to trade, fund and manage their accounts from a single platform. Additional products and services are in development, it added.

On the ground, Tickmill has opened offices in Kuwait and Oman, with further locations planned in the near term. It has also appointed Ranim Turfa as Head of Research & Market Analysis, a role the broker said will strengthen its market analysis capabilities.

"These developments reaffirm our long-term commitment to the Middle East and our mission to provide investors with a transparent, secure, and empowering trading environment," said Joseph Dahrieh, Managing Director, MENA at Tickmill. He said the product roadmap was aimed at simplifying the trading experience, and that the app-based CFD launch together with wider multi-asset access in 2026 showed continued investment in platform capabilities. With more products still in development, Dahrieh said the firm is positioning itself for faster growth in MENA and globally.

Regulatory footprint

Tickmill UK Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and operates a DIFC Representative Office regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. According to the company, the group is also regulated by CySEC and the Seychelles Financial Services Authority.
