ThinkMarkets Hires Former MultiBank CMO to Lead Growth Marketing

ThinkMarkets has recruited a former MultiBank chief marketing officer to head growth marketing, topping a daily recap that also covers NAGA, Revolut, iFOREX and AvaTrade.

ThinkMarkets has hired a former chief marketing officer of rival broker MultiBank to lead its growth marketing efforts. The appointment topped the broker-news roundup in which it was reported; the summary did not name the incoming executive or set out a start date, and ThinkMarkets has not published additional terms of the hire. The move adds senior marketing experience from a competing CFD and FX brand to ThinkMarkets' leadership bench.

Executive and business moves

The same daily recap said the chief executive of NAGA discussed the company's return to profitability, while Revolut is reportedly reconsidering a London listing. It also noted that Warren Buffett is stepping down as chairman. On the brokerage side, iFOREX revised its first-half earnings forecast downward, and AvaTrade is closing its Polish office.

Among platform and technology providers, Devexperts is targeting brokers in South Korea, and TradingView added MCP support aimed at AI tools. Match-Trade, meanwhile, is offering a seven-day prop firm launch through its Match-Prop product.

Regulatory and crypto items

In regulation, the recap reported that the US Senate blocked the CLARITY Act, and that the UK's Financial Conduct Authority is targeting illegal peer-to-peer crypto sites. Revolut was also linked to a KYC data incident in the roundup.

On the crypto and fintech side, CoinEx is shutting down, and artificial intelligence developer Anthropic is pushing into financial services. Interactive Brokers was highlighted for linking X Cashtags to trading, allowing social-media tickers to connect with order flow.

The recap aggregates company news, executive moves, deals, regulatory updates and market developments from across forex and CFD brokers, payments, digital assets, trading platforms and financial regulation. Beyond the headlines above, no further figures, timelines or financial terms were provided for the individual items.
