Temenos Core Banking SaaS to Power Questrade's Banking Offering

Temenos (SIX: TEMN), a global banking technology provider, announced on May 14, 2026, that Questrade Financial Group (QFG) has gone live with its core banking software-as-a-service platform. The deployment supports Questbank, QFG's new regulated banking entity, which is beginning to offer deposit and mortgage products to Canadian customers.

Expanding into Banking

The cloud-native SaaS platform is designed to deliver scalability and resilience for Questbank as it targets both QFG's existing millions of customers and the broader Canadian market. Temenos says the modular architecture enables real-time data processing and rapid innovation, critical for competing in the digital banking space.

David Furlong, Chief Operating Officer of Questbank, stated that the company is focused on helping Canadians achieve financial success and security. He noted that the Temenos platform provided the modern, composable core and specialized expertise needed to move quickly toward product introduction while maintaining the reliability and trust that Canadians expect from their banks.

According to QFG, the Temenos SaaS platform allowed for fast configuration of deposit and mortgage products that align with Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) requirements. Over time, the system's real-time processing capabilities will enable intelligent, data-driven banking at scale.

William Moroney, Chief Revenue Officer of Temenos, highlighted North America as a key growth region for the company. He called the go-live an important milestone that reflects Temenos' expanding footprint and proven delivery in the region. Moroney added that Questrade, as one of Canada's largest and most successful financial services providers, is extending that strength into banking, and Temenos SaaS provides the speed, resilience, and regulatory confidence to support the launch.
