Solana (SOL) Trading Begins on bitFlyer
bitFlyer has added Solana (SOL) to its trading platform, offering spot trading and a recurring buy option from June 24, 2026. A campaign rewards 10 customers with ¥10,000 in SOL.
bitFlyer, one of Japan’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced on Tuesday that it has begun offering Solana (SOL) trading on its platform. The listing includes spot trading on the exchange’s “sales desk” (販売所) starting June 24, 2026, and the company’s automated recurring purchase service “bitFlyer Simple Accumulation” from June 25.
Solana is a proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain that uses a unique proof-of-history (PoH) mechanism to timestamp transactions. According to bitFlyer, this design enables high throughput and low transaction costs, making SOL a foundation for decentralized applications, NFT markets, and other use cases. The exchange highlighted Solana’s speed and efficiency in its announcement.
Trading and Promotion Details
To celebrate the listing, bitFlyer is running a campaign from June 24 to July 24, 2026. Customers who buy at least ¥10,000 worth of SOL on the exchange’s sales desk during that period will be entered into a draw for a chance to win ¥10,000 in SOL. A total of 10 winners will be selected.
bitFlyer noted that it has maintained the highest Bitcoin trading volume among domestic exchanges for 10 consecutive years, citing data from the Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association (JVCEA) and company disclosures. The group also operates in the US and Europe through bitFlyer USA and bitFlyer EUROPE, and develops its own “Miyabi” blockchain via subsidiary bitFlyer Blockchain.
