Scope Prime Hires LP Prime's Ashraf Mushasha to Sell Liquidity in MENA

Scope Prime has brought in Ashraf Mushasha from LP Prime to drive liquidity sales across the Middle East and North Africa, targeting brokers and institutional counterparties in the region.

Scope Prime has hired Ashraf Mushasha away from LP Prime to sell liquidity in the Middle East and North Africa, giving the provider a dedicated sales presence for a region where broker demand for counterparty flow has been building.

Mushasha joins from LP Prime, a firm active in the same part of the market. His mandate at Scope Prime centers on distribution, bringing the company's liquidity offering to brokers and institutional counterparties operating across MENA.

The appointment is a sales-side hire rather than a product or technology change, and reflects the weight liquidity providers place on local coverage when competing for broker flow. Scope Prime has not disclosed further terms of the move.

Separately, payments specialist Paytiko used a Finance Magnates webinar to argue that reliance on a single payment service provider exposes online merchants to operational and payment risk as they scale. The session covered multi-PSP orchestration and smart routing, including routing decisions based on approval rates, cost and geography, the use of cascading and failover to keep transactions flowing, and the role of crypto, stablecoins and open banking in a broader payments mix.

Finance Magnates also published a studio interview with Simon Andras, co-founder of Simon Says Mindset, on why companies struggle to convert strategy into results. Andras pointed to structural, communication, leadership and performance issues as common obstacles, argued that third-party diagnosis can surface problems leadership teams miss, and said long-term change matters more than short-term motivation.
