Moomoo Engine Turns Retail Trading Tools Into One Research-To-Execution System

Moomoo has introduced Moomoo Engine, a unified framework combining fundamental research, options analysis, and technical trading tools into a single workflow for active retail investors.

Moomoo, the retail brokerage arm of Futu Holdings (FUTU), has launched Moomoo Engine, a new framework that consolidates fundamental research, options analysis, and technical trading tools into one structured workflow. The platform is designed to help active investors move from idea generation to trade execution without switching between multiple apps or subscriptions.

Neil McDonald, CEO of Moomoo U.S., said the retail trading space has become fragmented, with investors often using separate tools for research, charting, options strategy, and order entry. Moomoo Engine aims to solve this by organising functions into three connected modules: Fundamental Engine, Options Engine, and Technical Engine.

The Fundamental Engine provides tools such as an AI-generated briefing, earnings hub, analyst forecasts, valuation models, and institutional ownership tracking. The Options Engine includes Level 2 data, a strategy lab, P&L simulator, gamma exposure analysis, and an algo trading studio. The Technical Engine offers real-time Level 3 order depth, volume profile, backtesting, custom alerts, and advanced order types.

Moomoo Engine reflects a broader industry shift as retail brokers compete on workflow rather than just commissions or mobile access. By integrating research, strategy design, and execution into a single environment, Moomoo is positioning itself closer to professional-grade platforms while maintaining a retail-friendly interface. The launch builds on the company's recent investments in AI-driven analysis and agentic investing tools.
