Interactive Brokers adds Brazilian futures through Brazil’s B3 exchange

Interactive Brokers said eligible clients outside Brazil can now trade Brazilian futures via B3, adding to existing equities access and broadening emerging-market reach.

Interactive Brokers Group (NASDAQ: IBKR) announced on August 5, 2026, that eligible clients outside Brazil can now trade Brazilian futures through the B3 exchange. The launch builds on the broker's existing offering of Brazilian equities, giving international investors a broader entry point into one of Latin America's most active and liquid markets.

With the addition of B3 futures, Interactive Brokers clients gain direct access to both Brazilian futures and equities alongside products spanning more than 170 markets worldwide. The company said the expansion reflects its focus on global market access and aims to provide clients with efficient, cost-effective ways to diversify through a single unified platform.

Chief Executive Officer Milan Galik said the move supports global investors seeking low-cost, seamless access to emerging economies. He described B3 as a dynamic, fast-growing market and emphasized that the addition of futures lets clients trade within the same unified experience they already use for markets worldwide. Interactive Brokers also highlighted its position as the first broker to bring streamlined access to Brazil's B3 exchange to international investors.

B3 is the main stock exchange in Brazil and one of the largest in Latin America by market activity. The latest product expansion gives investors another route to emerging market opportunities, particularly across sectors tied to Brazil's long-term growth outlook.

Interactive Brokers continues to extend its international product lineup, adding new asset classes and geographic coverage through its trading platforms and tools.
