HTX Q1 2026 Report: User Base Surges to 59M as Record Volumes Drive Growth

HTX reported 59 million registered users and $3 billion+ spot trading volume in Q1 2026, along with 39 new asset listings and expansion of futures and earn products.
HTX (formerly Huobi) released its Q1 2026 performance report on Wednesday, revealing that total registered users surpassed 59 million by the end of March. The exchange achieved a record quarterly brand reach of 53.55 million and pushed spot trading volume beyond the $3 billion mark during the period.
The exchange listed 39 new assets in Q1, with 53.85% classified as initial listings. Breakout tokens such as ELSA, 老子, and 我踏马来 posted peak gains of 620%, 572.73%, and 411.81%, respectively. HTX's Spot Fee Rebate Program also drove cumulative trading volume past 30 billion USDT.
On the derivatives side, HTX expanded its TradFi futures zone by adding over 22 new pairs covering gold, silver, crude oil, U.S. equities and major indices, bringing total tradable pairs to more than 276. The SmartEarn product delivered a peak APY of 7.21% and an average yield of 2.68% during the quarter.
Copy Trading 4.0 and the Smart Copy feature contributed to a 50% increase in trading volume, while copy trading users doubled and liquidation volumes fell 61%. HTX Earn introduced a VIP Flexible product for Prime 5+ users offering up to 9% APY on USDT with a 100,000 USDT cap, and stablecoin Flexible Earn products provided up to 15% APY. Earn campaigns for USDe and USAT drew over $110 million in subscriptions, and six new crypto campaigns attracted more than $10 million.
HTX continued to bolster its security posture with its 42nd consecutive monthly Proof of Reserves disclosure. Net holdings of BTC increased by 142 coins and ETH by 538 coins, while TRX reserves grew by 91.78 million tokens. The platform also introduced a unified USDs aggregation model for stablecoin asset display.
The exchange launched a beta version of an AI assistant for market analysis and personalized earn recommendations, and upgraded its Community section with sentiment indicators. On the ecosystem front, HTX DAO introduced on-chain staking, and the $HTX token was listed on compliant European exchanges. HTX Ventures published its 2025 Year in Review report and maintained a presence at key industry events such as Consensus HK and ETHDenver.
Looking ahead to Q2, HTX plans to integrate third-party custody solutions including Ceffu and advance asset transfer upgrades to improve capital efficiency and liquidity. The exchange said it would continue to focus on global compliance, ecosystem expansion, wealth creation and security assurance.
