Hola Prime Says It Has Paid More Than $10 Million to Funded Traders

Hola Prime says it has paid more than $10 million to funded traders, as Trade Nation buys FXCM's UK client book and Trading 212 posts a 70% revenue rise.

Hola Prime says it has paid more than $10 million to traders through its funded-account programme, the lead item in a busy round of industry news that also brought a UK client-book deal, revenue updates from two brokers and fresh regulatory signals on both sides of the Atlantic.

Trade Nation has bought FXCM's UK client book, taking on the brokerage's British customer base. Trading 212, meanwhile, reported that its revenue rose 70%, according to the same industry recap.

Regulation in focus

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has moved to allow perpetual index futures. In Europe, regulators have questioned Binance's use of reverse solicitation, the route by which firms argue that a client approached them on their own initiative rather than being actively marketed to. In the UK, the Financial Conduct Authority has opened a crypto authorisation window, while prediction market Polymarket has added new trading safeguards.

Elsewhere in the sector, IG Group said it expects lower revenue in its third quarter and has lost two senior technology executives. Pepperstone reported double-digit revenue growth, eToro backed a euro-denominated stablecoin, and MetaQuotes added Benzinga news to its platform offering. Trading technology provider Match-Trader launched an MCP, and brokers continued to weigh the build-versus-buy question when it comes to their platforms.

The developments were published as part of a daily industry recap covering forex and CFD brokers, fintech, payments, digital assets, trading platforms and financial regulation.
