From Lisbon to Warsaw: Trade Nation’s European Passport Gets Its Next Stamp in Poland

Trade Nation has rolled out regulated CFD trading in Poland under its Portuguese CMVM licence, offering zloty-denominated accounts, Polish-language support and new local markets including Poland 20 Futures and PLN pairs.

Trade Nation has launched regulated CFD trading for Polish residents and nationals, extending its Portuguese licence from the country's securities regulator, the CMVM, into Poland via the European passporting regime. The rollout, announced on 15 October 2026, makes Poland the second market the broker serves under that licence.

Clients in Poland can open CFD and Single Currency accounts denominated in zloty (PLN) and trade through the TN Trader platform, TradingView and MetaTrader 4. The broker's website, onboarding process and customer support are all delivered in Polish, and the company said the dedicated PLN account and Polish-language service are available from day one.

Local Markets and Listings

The launch adds several Poland-specific instruments: Poland 20 Futures, single-stock CFDs on Allegro SA, CD Projekt SA, Orlen SA and Żabka Group, and zloty pairs against the euro, the pound and the US dollar — EUR/PLN, GBP/PLN and USD/PLN.

"Poland has one of the most active and sophisticated trading communities in Europe, and this launch is an important step in our growth across the region," said Jon Noble, CEO of Trade Nation.

Luis dos Santos, CEO - Europe at Trade Nation, said Polish clients can trade in their own currency with a dedicated PLN account and support in Polish from the first day, describing the offering as "a proposition built specifically for Polish traders, not simply extended to them."

Trade Nation formally entered Europe through a new Portuguese entity authorised by the CMVM, with that launch announced in July 2026 after the firm opened its Lisbon office the previous year. At the time, dos Santos — then titled CEO of Portugal — said the number of retail investors in the EU was growing quickly and that the broker aimed to capitalise on the trend through its trading platforms.

The Polish expansion follows other changes at the broker. Earlier in 2026, Trade Nation folded its TD365 platform into the main Trade Nation brand, retiring the brand name and consolidating customers onto a single platform. The company has also rebuilt its senior leadership team over the past year.

The move comes days after reports that Trade Nation is acquiring the UK client book of legacy CFD broker FXCM, with AvaTrade buying most of the remaining FXCM operations.
