eToro Reports First Quarter 2026 Results

eToro reported Q1 2026 net contribution of $258 million, up 19% YoY, and net income of $82 million. The company also acquired self-custodial crypto wallet provider Zengo in April.

Trading and investing platform eToro Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: ETOR) posted strong first-quarter results for 2026, with net contribution reaching $258 million, a 19% year-over-year increase. Net income rose 37% to $82 million, while adjusted EBITDA grew 35% to $109 million. The company attributed the performance to higher commodities trading activity and growth in funded accounts.

Funded accounts climbed 12% year-over-year to 4.02 million, supported by increased marketing spend. Assets under administration reached $17.0 billion, up 15% from $14.8 billion in the prior-year period. Adjusted diluted EPS came in at $0.91, compared to $0.77 in Q1 2025.

eToro accelerated product innovation during the quarter, launching 24/7 trading for select commodities, equities and indices, and adding Japanese equities to its platform. The company also introduced an eToro App Store, AI-powered Agent Portfolios, and expanded its partnership with xAI to embed market sentiment data from Grok 4.2 into its AI assistant, Tori. In a significant move, eToro announced the acquisition of Zengo, a self-custodial crypto wallet provider, which closed on April 30, 2026.

Commodities trading was a standout driver, accounting for approximately 60% of trading commissions in the quarter, with volumes nearly quadrupling year-over-year. The company also activated its BitLicense and Money Transmitter License to launch crypto trading for users in New York.

For April 2026, eToro reported assets under administration of $18.7 billion, up 19% year-over-year, and funded accounts of 4.07 million, up 13%. Capital markets trades totaled 63 million in April, up 50% year-over-year, while crypto trades declined 32% to 2 million.

CEO Yoni Assia said the team delivered the company’s strongest quarterly financial results as a public company, noting the Zengo acquisition advances eToro’s strategy of bridging traditional finance with on-chain infrastructure. CFO Meron Shani highlighted the surge in commodities trading as evidence of the strength of eToro’s multi-asset business model.
